Reviews of ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ and ‘Old Yellow Bricks’

I have looked up reviews of the track and album to see how other people interpret the song. This is useful to us as others may have picked up ideas we may have missed.

“Ascending guitars do battle as the band’s much promised darker and heavier side comes to the fore. With a succession of jaw-dropping riffs, you are engulfed by a fever” -Young, 2007

“‘Old Yellow Bricks’, with its rifle-sighted bass slashes, cop car siren guitars and sense of besuited ‘80s urgency, is practically a Duran Duran Bond theme.” -Beaumont, 2007
